MOVE 01Day one, at the doorstep

Provide compassionate and personalized care to patients in their homes, promoting their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene, that is core caregivers responsibility.

MOVE 02Understand the need

Support patients with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting and positioning techniques.

MOVE 03Deliver the core of the role

Administer medications and ensure compliance with prescribed treatment plans.

Monitor and record vital signs, as well as observe and report any changes in the patient’s condition.

MOVE 04Work with the team

Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and maintaining proper nutrition.

MOVE 05Support patients & families

Engage patients in meaningful activities and provide companionship.

Maintain a clean and organized living environment for the patient, ensuring their safety and comfort.

MOVE 06Record, report, improve

Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide accurate updates and communicate any concerns or changes in the patient’s condition.

What you need

License / CertificateHigh school diploma or equivalent. · Certified Dementia Assistant (CDA) certification or equivalent. · Valid CPR and First Aid certification.
ExperiencePrevious experience as a Caregiver or similar role in a home health care setting is an asset.
SkillsCompassionate and empathetic approach toward patients and their families.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and familiarity with healthcare procedures.Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and handle multiple responsibilities.Strong organizational and time management skills.
